P Australia has announced that, from 1 March 2026, Australian nationals and residents will, in addition to the Australian or Korean Patent Office, be able to select the European Patent Office (EPO) or the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) as the International Searching Authority (ISA) and International Preliminary Examination Authority (IPEA) for applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
